A brief post is needed to explain how this blog came to be. It all started as most Seattle adventures do... With an unexpected warm and sunny day. This particular sunny day also happened to be a Friday. The ending of a work week combined with the often elusive sun could only mean one thing... HAPPY HOUR! I posted my Happy Hour desire on Facebook and before I knew it I was meeting a friend for some discounted drinks. Meanwhile, little did I know that my two closest friends had similar ambitions on this Happiest of Friday Hours. Sarkis and Teddi were across town on an equally determined mission. We eventually joined forces. Then perhaps after a few too many of the Happiest of Hours me made the following commitment:
- Every Friday we will choose a new Seattle Happy Hour destination to embark on
- The destination decision will rotate between the three of us each week - NO VETO'S
- We will report our adventures, opinions, and pictures here each week
So there it is... Our credo, our mission statement, our excuse to have fun! It is, as we have come to affectionately call it...
A Happy Hour Revolution!!
Trying out Maximilien this Friday at 5:00. Little later than usual. This may be a good thing? Its on 1st and Pike. Apparently you go to Pike Place and walk past where they throw the fish (head down the walkway toward the water) See you there!
